What a great flight from Ermelo to Mosselbay. It started to rain over the ocean, but other then that, what an awesome flight! We here at Ermelo airfield had to wait 1 whole Year due to covert for the air race, but the wait was worth it in the end.

Travelling by air seem's to be the way to go in our new world.
Despite it being a long and challenging year for everyone. The world facing new a new challenge and us as a flight school being unable to do what we are passionate about doing.
​ Being forced to stay on the ground for far to long, we have still managed to reach heights that we are proud of as a fight school. Our Instructor's and students have overcome these obstacles and took to the sky as soon as the restrictions were lifted. Beechcraft 33 Beechcraft 36 Foxbat Mooney Piper 180 Cessna 172 Cessna 210 On Saturday Morning we took off early here in Ermelo with the Foxbat ZU-VWE for a cross country trip to Klerksdorp. On the way there we made a touch and go at Parys' airfield. There we also got some awesome visuals while flying over the Vaal River!
On Saturday during the past weekend we departed here from Ermelo for a flight to Bingelela Guest Farm with Astrid Pavard and Rudolph Barnard in a Piper Mooney. The aircraft performed exceptionally well and with the help of a Tail wind we were able to achieve a ground speed of 207 knots! With awesome views and fun flying, this weekend is one to remember! |
