THIS COURSE IS FOR:
This course is ideal for prospective students looking to start a professional flying career. Students in this course must have a huge passion for flying and be willing to work and study hard in order to achieve their goal, as this course is much harder in terms of subjects, exams and practical flying.
ABOUT THIS COURSE:
This course will allow the candidate, once qualified, to act as pilot-in-command of an aircraft used in the commercial aviation sector and more specifically act for remuneration or reward.
The course consists of a monitored and structured solo development program along with a comprehensive theory course. All candidates are required to write and pass a further eight theoretical knowledge examinations.
Briefing and classes for the subjects are optional but will require additional fees.
The South African Civil Aviation Authority’s current requirements to be met by all Commercial Pilot licence candidates ensure that every student acquires a total of at least 200 hours of flight training. Towards the latter end of the training course, each candidate will receive training on more advanced aircraft in preparation for their final Commercial Pilot Licence flight test which is to be conducted by an elected Flight Examiner, most of which are experienced airline pilots with in excess of thousands of hours of flight experience.
